2027: FCT youths buys nomination forms for NDC senatorial aspirant

The FCT Concern Youths Network ( FCYN) am umbrella body of the indigenous youth of the Abuja, has purchased nomination/expression of interest forms for newly registered Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Senatorial aspirant for 2027 election in the territory Hon Eziekel Musa Dalhatu.
The Secretary of the youth Network, Comrade Idris Yahaya, presented the senatorial nomination/expression of interest forms onbehalf of the youth to Dalhatu, in Abuja, on Saturday.
He said the presentation of the forms was part of the promise made by the FCT youth during its earlier clarion call on Hon Eziekel Musa Dalhatu to contest for the FCT senate seat in 2027 election during a press conference on January, 2026, in Abuja.
He said the youths desire across the six area councils to contribute money to purchase the NDC senate nomination forms was driven by passionate and commitment of the youth who strongly believe in the visionary leadership, credibility and grassroots connection of Hon. Dalhatu Ezekiel Musa.
He said the FCT youth has more confidence in Dalhatu as a pioneer FCT leader of the Coalition of Abuja Indigenous Association who has championed the struggle for the emancipation of the natives of the FCT.
The youth group, described Dalhatu as a leader with the capacity, courage and sincerity needed to bring meaningful representation and transformation to the FCT if elected to the senate to champion the course of the natives of the territory.
Responding, Hon. Dalhatu Ezekiel Musa, appreciated the FCT youths for coming together to purchase the nomination/expression of interest forms for him to contest for FCT senate seat on the platform of the NDC in 2027 election.
He said such move by the FCT youth was a clear demonstrated that the indigenous youth of the FCT have confidence in him to represent them at the senate in 2027.
“And I want to assure our FCT youths that I cannot betray myself or the people who genuinely believe in this movement, as by the grace of God, we shall champion the course of the indigenous people of the FCT if given the mandate in 2027,”he said.
Dalhatu, who is the immediate past commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PCC) in FCT, highlighted some of his major agenda for the people of the FCT if elected as Senator.
He said he will he ensure he strengthen community safety and security across the FCT, creation of job opportunities that will make youths productive, useful and self reliant and introducing sustainable human development and lifetime empowerment programs instead of temporary token based empowerment schemes.
The NDC Senatorial aspirant said he will also that illegal demolition and non compensation of the houses of the natives of the FCT tackled and among other challenges facing the natives of the territory.
