In yet another wave of violence, no fewer than 49 people have been killed in coordinated attacks on Zike and Kimakpa villages, located in the Kwall District of Bassa Local Government Area, Plateau State.
Eyewitnesses reported that the tragic incident began late Sunday evening around 8 PM, with gunfire erupting from multiple directions, sending residents into panic. The communities, under the Irigwe Chiefdom, have long been targets of deadly attacks.
