Ogugu, Kogi State – Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah has showered encomiums on Chief Dr. Ogwu James Onoja, SAN, for his remarkable contributions to both the spiritual and social upliftment of the Ogugu community.
Speaking after the commissioning of a grand grotto dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Ogugu, Hon. Ogah described Chief Onoja’s gesture as an inspiring act of faith, philanthropy, and community development.
“The commitment shown by Chief Dr. Ogwu James Onoja in fostering spiritual growth through the building of a magnificent grotto, and his continued support for the Catholic Women Organization and the church as a whole, is a shining example of true leadership anchored on service to God and humanity,” Hon. Ogah said.
He praised the Senior Advocate for not only beautifying the church environment but also for uplifting the worship experience of parishioners by donating One Million Naira to the Catholic Women Organization and pledging 29 heavy-duty fans worth ₦3,480,000.
According to Hon. Ogah, such acts go beyond material contributions; they are seeds sown for the spiritual, moral, and communal development of generations to come.
He urged other well-meaning individuals to take a cue from Chief Onoja’s selflessness, stressing that true leadership lies in giving back to the society and uplifting the less privileged.
Chief Onoja’s latest gesture, Hon. Ogah noted, cements his standing as a patriotic son of Kogi State, whose actions continuously reflect his strong faith, compassion, and dedication to communal progress.
