In a landmark event held in the heart of the nation’s capital, the Coalition of Ganduje Support Groups (C-GSG) and The Progressive Institute (TPI) jointly hosted a grand reception and dinner in honour of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) at the prestigious Ladi Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel (Former Sheraton).
The event, which took place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, celebrated the appointments of the party leadership into key federal boards by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda. Distinguished guests included:
Sen. Godswill Akpabio, GCON, President of the Senate (Chairman of the Occasion)
Farmer (Dr.) Mohammed Umar Bago, Governor of Niger State (Special Guest of Honour)
Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, CON, Speaker, House of Representatives
Sen. Hope Uzodimma, CON, Governor of Imo State and Chairman, Progressive Governors Forum
APC Governors, National Assembly Members, State Party Executives, and Party Stakeholders.
Among those specially honoured was Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, FCT Coordinator of Arewa Youths for Peaceful Coexistence and CEO/MD of Anarock Global Services Ltd, who was recognized for his progressive leadership and contributions to youth and national integration through the Arewa Youths platform.
Delivering a goodwill message, Hon. Ogah applauded Dr. Ganduje’s leadership capacity and liberal political philosophy, which has led to mass decamping of opposition party members into the APC fold. He praised the National Chairman’s unwavering commitment to unity and inclusivity, describing him as a leader deeply aligned with the Renewed Hope vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He further urged the President to consolidate the achievements of the APC by retaining and supporting the current winning team of the party’s national leadership, noting that Dr. Ganduje has demonstrated the qualities of a stabilizing force in Nigeria’s democracy.
The event featured musical and cultural displays, alongside goodwill messages from other political figures and stakeholders. In his keynote address, Dr. Ganduje expressed his gratitude to the organizers, reaffirming his dedication to party unity, strategic growth, and grassroots development.
The event concluded on a high note with renewed calls for collaboration, continuity, and cohesion within the APC.
