In a remarkable show of compassion and corporate social responsibility, Anarock Global Services Limited (GSL), led by its Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, has empowered inmates at the Kuje Correctional Facility with a donation of a sewing machine to the Vocational Training Center.

The donation, presented on behalf of the company by Mr. Henry Adaji, Administrative Manager of Anarock GSL, is part of a broader humanitarian gesture aimed at supporting rehabilitation through skill acquisition. The event marks the fulfillment of a pledge made on April 4, during the CEO’s birthday celebration, to positively impact lives behind prison walls.

The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Humanitarian Volunteer Project for Africa, a non-governmental organization founded by Hon. Ogah. The NGO is committed to improving the welfare of the less privileged and empowering vulnerable groups across the continent.

Speaking at the presentation, Mr. Adaji emphasized the need to offer second chances and promote personal development regardless of one’s circumstances. “It could be anyone behind these walls. What matters is the opportunity to start afresh. We believe in dignity, skill, and self-reliance,” he said.

Officers of the Nigeria Correctional Service expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as a welcome contribution to their ongoing rehabilitation programs aimed at equipping inmates with useful trades before reentry into society.
