As young people from the Arewa region, we believe in the power of unity, progress, and purposeful leadership. In a time when our nation faces many challenges, it is heartwarming to see that the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is showing direction, commitment, and genuine efforts to bring Nigerians together for a better future.

Recently, the APC National Summit held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja brought together top leaders including President Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Dr. Ganduje himself. The gathering wasn’t just about politics—it was a reflection on how far the party and the country have come, and how much more we can achieve if we stay united.

As youths from the North, we see in Dr. Ganduje a symbol of mature leadership and inclusivity. Since becoming the APC National Chairman, he has prioritized internal democracy, reconciliation, and inclusiveness. He believes that everyone—young and old—must feel like part of the system. His approach promotes dialogue, fairness, and collective responsibility.

Ganduje has reminded us that for any party or nation to grow, it must eliminate internal conflicts and strengthen communication between leaders and citizens. He has worked to bring both elected and appointed officials together to serve the people with sincerity and purpose.

President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” is more than a political slogan. We, as Arewa youths, are witnessing practical steps being taken to reposition Nigeria—economic reforms, agricultural support, digital innovation, and infrastructure development. He has also approved a new minimum wage of N70,000 and provided financial support to vulnerable households.

These efforts directly affect young people and our families. They give us hope that Nigeria can work for everyone, no matter your background or region.

Under Ganduje, APC is becoming more attractive across the country. Leaders from other parties are joining, not out of compulsion, but because they see sincerity and structure. This kind of political development brings stability, which is what we need in the North—less tension, more engagement, more opportunities.

We call on fellow Arewa youths to support peaceful coexistence across ethnic and religious lines. Politics should never divide us—it should unite us for a common cause: progress. We must reject hate speech, avoid political violence, and rise above sentiments.

We also encourage our leaders to continue creating platforms for young people to participate meaningfully in governance and policy-making. We are not just the future—we are the present.

Dr. Ganduje and President Tinubu are showing that with unity, dialogue, and vision, we can build a better Nigeria. Let us, as youths of the Arewa region, support peace, development, and leadership that listens. The future is ours—let’s shape it together in unity and peace.
