Following the successful flag-off of the 7.2km Idah Township Road Project by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, two prominent sons of Kogi State, Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah and Hon. Bashir Gegu, met to reaffirm their shared commitment to the advancement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the developmental vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
During the meeting, which held shortly after the groundbreaking ceremony, Hon. Bashir Gegu, the Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals, lauded Hon. Ogah for his selflessness, grassroots engagement, and unwavering loyalty to the APC both in Kogi East and across the state.
“Hon. Mark Ogah is one of the few political figures whose consistency, humility, and dedication to party ideals remain exemplary. His commitment to empowering the youth, supporting women, and strengthening party structures aligns with the spirit of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the development blueprint of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo,” Hon. Gegu remarked.
In a demonstration of solidarity and appreciation, the Commissioner made a generous cash donation to the Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah Support Group, commending their visible presence and strategic mobilization during the flag-off ceremony.
The support group, a fast-growing grassroots movement, has become a major vehicle for political engagement and citizen enlightenment across Kogi East, particularly among youths and women.
Reacting to the commendation and donation, Hon. Mark Ogah expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Gegu, describing him as “a dependable ally of progress and a leader who truly embodies party loyalty and developmental politics.”
“Hon. Bashir Gegu has always led by example. His encouragement means a lot to our team, and we will continue to work in line with the policies of our dear Governor and the Renewed Hope vision of our President,” Ogah said.
