His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu, the Ejeh of Ankpa, has described Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah (popularly known as Major Mark) as “a worthy son of Igala land”, commending his loyalty, humility, and visible contributions to the progress of Kogi East and the state at large.
The royal commendation was made at the residence of Mr. Friday Idachaba, a respected APC chieftain in Idah, during a post-event gathering held to mark the official flag-off of the Idah Township Road Project by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Speaking to a gathering of traditional leaders, party loyalists, and supporters, the monarch stated:
“Major Mark is a worthy son. His efforts in supporting the party and pushing for development in our communities deserve recognition. We are proud of him.”
The event, which followed the historic flag-off ceremony, served as both a celebration and a moment of reflection on the growing unity and development agenda sweeping through Kogi East.
Mr. Friday Idachaba, host of the gathering, echoed the royal father’s sentiments, describing Hon. Mark Ogah as “a disciplined, loyal and visionary son of the land whose commitment to the APC and to the Ododo-led administration is unwavering.”
In his brief response, Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah expressed deep appreciation for the royal endorsement and support from party leaders:
