Abuja, Nigeria – May 2025 — In a show of deep appreciation and recognition, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has honoured Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, MD/CEO of Anarock Global Services Nig. Ltd, for his outstanding contributions to the growth and support of the Corps’ Handball Team.
During a courtesy visit led by Commandant Ladepo Lawal, the Director of Sports at the NSCDC National Headquarters in Abuja, the Sports Unit presented a formal letter of appreciation and an Award of Appreciation to Hon. Ogah. The award celebrates his sportsmanship, moral, and financial support towards the NSCDC Handball Team’s success and visibility.
The letter, signed by Commandant Lawal, praised Hon. Ogah for playing a “crucial role and making lasting impact” on the team, which has elevated the image of the Corps in national sporting activities. “You are highly recognized, sir,” the engraved plaque read, highlighting the personal and institutional value of his contributions.
In addition to the award, the NSCDC extended a housing business proposal to Anarock Global Services Limited, reflecting their interest in establishing a broader partnership with Hon. Ogah’s firm in the area of infrastructure and housing solutions.
The visit also came with significant announcements. The Commission declared its intention to appoint Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah as the Chairman of the NSCDC Handball Team in the FCT, acknowledging his vision, passion, and proven track record in sports development.
In a further demonstration of goodwill and appreciation, the Commander offered Hon. Ogah two employment slots into the NSCDC, opening new opportunities for individuals under his mentorship or network.
The team’s coach also revealed that their next major tournament is scheduled for July 7th, and Hon. Ogah immediately committed an initial financial support of ₦500,000 to aid preparations and logistics—an act that was met with applause and commendation.
Responding, Hon. Ogah expressed deep gratitude to the Corps, pledging to continue his support for sports, youth development, and national service initiatives. He described the partnership as “a noble cause that aligns with my lifelong commitment to empowering others.”
This honour adds to the growing list of recognitions for Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, whose philanthropic and developmental strides continue to gain commendation across institutions in Nigeria.
