2027: Growing concern in Lafia Central as stakeholders raise eye blows, want Gov. Sule, Bello, Emir intervention on political equations

……Says we remain committed to Govt, party but justice should be done

Ahead of the 2027 General Election, there is high level of growing concern in Lafia Central State constituency of Nasarawa State over political equations.

This is as stakeholders in the constituency are concerned over political equations and the future of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in the area in the upcoming elections.

A statement in Lafia issued to newsmen today Friday by Mr. Danladi Gideon from Bukan Sidi in Akurba ward of Lafia Central Constituency lamented on the recent developments in the political atmosphere of the area.

He said that the people of Akurba electoral ward are seriously not happy with the political balance in Lafia Central where positions both elective and appointed are one sided hence the need for urgent intervention by Governor Abdullahi Sule and the State APC Chairman who hailed from Lafia LG to look into the issue and address it once and for all to safeguard the future of the party.

The statement equally called on the Emir of Lafia Rtd Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad as a father of all and other critical stakeholders to wade into the matter to ensure political balance, equity and justice for the people so that everyone will be adequately carried along, have sense of belonging and be part of the government.

The statement emphasized that the people of Akurba, Wakwa electoral wards and others especially the outside city communities are totally being disadvantaged politically hence the need for their calls to be carried along in scheme of things.

It added that the people are loyal members of the party and will remain as such with full support for the government of the day beyond 2027 but are demanding for political justice even if it is consideration for the slot of the State Assembly seat.
