Kuraun Consults Minda Stakeholders Ahead of APC Governorship Primaries in Benue

Leading governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Dr. Jeffrey Kuraun, on Thursday intensified consultations with key stakeholders from the Minda axis ahead of the party’s governorship primaries scheduled for next week.

The strategic meeting, held at the residence of elder statesman, Dr. Akange Audu, brought together political stakeholders, party loyalists, youth leaders, and community elders in what observers described as a major mobilization effort for the APC primaries.

Speaking during the meeting, Dr. Kuraun appreciated the people for their support and confidence in his aspiration, stressing the need for unity and collective commitment among party members to ensure victory for the APC at both the primaries and the governorship election.

The aspirant assured stakeholders that his administration, if elected, would focus on development, security, youth empowerment, infrastructural growth, and improved welfare for the people of Benue State.

He described the consultation as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots collaboration and build a broad-based movement capable of delivering purposeful leadership and sustainable development across the state.

Several stakeholders who spoke at the meeting expressed confidence in Dr. Kuraun’s leadership qualities, vision, and capacity to govern the state effectively.

Chairman of APC in Guma Local Government Area, Hon. Lazarus Asema, pledged the support of party members in the area, noting that the people of Guma and the wider Minda bloc were prepared to work for the aspirant’s success at the primaries and the general election.

Other speakers at the gathering included elder statesman Dr. Akange Audu, Julius Kpanya, Mike Iordye, Michael Tule, popularly known as Igboji, and youth leader Abunde Evidence Tavershima.

In their separate remarks, they commended Dr. Kuraun for engaging stakeholders across the state and pledged to mobilize delegates, youths, party members, and supporters ahead of the APC primaries.

The stakeholders also urged party faithful to remain united and committed to the ideals of the APC, stressing that loyalty and cooperation would be critical to the party’s success in the forthcoming governorship election.

The meeting ended with renewed expressions of support for Dr. Kuraun’s governorship ambition, as supporters voiced optimism that his emergence would usher in a new phase of leadership and development in Benue State.
