With the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) set to lift the ban on political campaigns on August 19, 2026, political activities are expected to gather momentum across the country. In Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency, the countdown to the January 16, 2027 House of Representatives election has already sparked conversations about who is best equipped to represent the people.
