Ughelli North Chairman Jaro Egbo Honours DESTMA Officer Omonikobe Israel Ufuoma for Outstanding Public Service

The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council of Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Jaro Movudu Egbo, KSC, has honoured Mr. Omonikobe Israel Ufuoma, an officer of the Delta State Traffic Management Authority (DESTMA), for his exceptional dedication, professionalism, and commitment to public service.
The recognition took place on Friday, July 10, 2026, during a ceremony held at the Chairman’s office at the Ughelli North Local Government Council Secretariat.
Speaking at the event, Barr. Egbo described the DESTMA officer as a disciplined and hardworking public servant whose consistent commitment to duty has distinguished him among his colleagues.
According to the council chairman, the award reflects the local government’s commitment to recognising excellence in public service and encouraging civil servants to uphold the values of integrity, diligence, accountability, and selfless service.
“As a council, we believe outstanding performance deserves recognition and appreciation. Mr. Omonikobe Israel Ufuoma has consistently demonstrated diligence, hard work, loyalty, and dedication in the discharge of his responsibilities.
