Ex-IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu Condoles Keana Lawmaker, Former Assembly Leader Over Bereavement

Former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, CFR, NPM, mni, on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the member representing Keana State Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Adamu Quality, and former Majority Leader of the Assembly, Hon. Yahaya Major, following the deaths of their beloved mother and sister, respectively.

During the visit to Keana, the former police chief sympathised with the bereaved families, describing the loss of a loved one as a painful experience and urging them to remain steadfast in faith.

Adamu noted that death is an inevitable reality, reminding the families that every soul will ultimately return to Almighty Allah.

He offered prayers for the deceased, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive their shortcomings, expand their graves, grant them eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and comfort the families they left behind.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to Honourable Muhammad Adamu Quality, Honourable Yahaya Major, and the entire families. May Allah grant you the strength, patience and fortitude to bear these painful losses, and bless you with peace and comfort during this difficult time,” he said.

The condolence visit was held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
