NdokwaForward Applauds Oborevwori’s Expanding Devt Footprint in Ndokwa Land

A leading political pressure group in Ndokwa Nation, NdokwaForward, has commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for what it described as his growing developmental interventions and commitment to infrastructural transformation across Ndokwa Land.

In a statement jointly signed by Rt. Hon. Samuel Osasa Esq., Omordi George Ugbomah, and Chief Isaac Onyesom, the group expressed appreciation to the governor for the recent commissioning of key road projects in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, noting that the projects reflect his administration’s dedication to inclusive governance and balanced development.

According to the group, the newly commissioned projects, including the Obi-Ibabu/Ibabu Road in Onicha-Ukwuani, the first phase of the Utagba-Uno/Ndemili Road, and the Etua-Ukpo, Etua-Etiti and Etua-Oliogo road network, have significantly improved connectivity among communities and are expected to stimulate commerce, agriculture, and rural development.

NdokwaForward stated that the projects represent more than physical infrastructure, describing them as strategic investments that will strengthen economic activities, enhance social cohesion, improve transportation, and raise the standard of living of residents across the area.

The group further praised Governor Oborevwori’s administration for ensuring that no part of Delta State is excluded from the ongoing development drive, stressing that the government’s infrastructure renewal agenda continues to bring governance closer to the people while creating opportunities for sustainable economic growth.

While acknowledging the completed projects, the group also expressed optimism over the governor’s assurances regarding the completion of other ongoing strategic projects in Ndokwa Land.

These include the Inam-Abbi Access Road, Utagba-Uno/Eweshi Road, Emu-Ebendo-Iyasele-Ashaka Road, the access road to the Kwale Industrial Park, Emu-Beneku Road, the Ogbedigbo-Afor Road corridor, and the Timber Road leading to the waterside area in Obiaruku.

According to NdokwaForward, the completion of these projects will unlock new opportunities for investment, trade, employment, and overall economic expansion throughout the region.

The group also commended the state government’s commitment to the proposed Aboh-Akarai Road and bridge project across the Okiri River, describing it as a landmark intervention capable of addressing long-standing transportation challenges and improving access to previously underserved communities.

On the issue of electricity, NdokwaForward welcomed Governor Oborevwori’s assurance that measures have been approved to rehabilitate damaged power infrastructure in affected Ndokwa communities. It noted that the intervention would provide much-needed relief to residents and businesses that rely on stable electricity supply for their economic and social activities.

The group further lauded the governor’s approval for the commencement of processes leading to the next phase of the Utagba-Uno/Ndemili Road project, saying it demonstrates the administration’s commitment to continuity and the completion of projects for maximum public benefit.

Reaffirming its support for the governor’s development agenda, NdokwaForward maintained that the visible infrastructural transformation taking place across Ndokwa Nation is laying a solid foundation for economic prosperity, improved mobility, agricultural advancement, and a better quality of life for both present and future generations.

The group expressed appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for what it described as commendable interventions in Ndokwa Land and urged the administration to sustain the momentum of development that is positively reshaping communities across the region.
