NO COUNTRY CAN SURVIVE WEEK OF US, ISRAEL ATTACKS EXCEPT RUSSIA, CHINA, UK, FRANCE – SHEHU SANI

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has issued a stark warning against the escalating military tensions in the Middle East, asserting that in the face of combined assaults from the United States and Israel, only a handful of global superpowers, Russia, China, Britain, and France, could possibly endure even a single week of their relentless firepower, a revelation that underscores the precarious balance of power in today’s volatile world.

Posting on his verified X platform, the outspoken politician, renowned for his candid takes on international affairs and unfiltered commentary on global geopolitics, painted a grim picture of military realities in the 21st century, declaring unequivocally that “with the exception of Russia, China, Britain and France, arguably there is no nation on Earth, that can withstand ONE WEEK of the relentless attacks by the US and Israel.”

Sani’s reaction comes amid heightened fears of broader conflict in the region, particularly involving Iran, which he insisted poses no direct threat to American interests, urging restraint to prevent a catastrophic escalation that could engulf the world in flames.

The ex-lawmaker, who has consistently voiced concerns over unilateral military adventures, stressed the dangers of actions taken outside the United Nations framework, warning that such moves risk destabilizing global peace and security in ways that no one can predict or control.

According to him, history is replete with wars that spiral far beyond their original intentions, morphing into uncontrollable infernos of destruction that spare neither combatant nor civilian, leaving in their wake unimaginable suffering for ordinary people caught in the crossfire, a poignant reminder of the human cost that often accompanies the hubris of superpowers.

Sani’s comments have sparked widespread reactions across Nigeria and beyond, with many viewing them as a timely call for diplomatic sobriety in an era where proxy battles and missile exchanges threaten to draw in major players, potentially reshaping alliances and economies worldwide.
