Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has again notified members of the public that he will be spending his birthday like every other day of his life, no drums, no trumpets.

Naija News reports that the Governor disclosed this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye on Wednesday in Ilorin.

The governor said this has been his personal choice since he assumed office in 2019 as the Governor of Kwara State.

According to the statement, the governor has, therefore, not authorised any celebrations in that regard.

“The Governor, like every servant of God, is immensely grateful to his Maker and Sustainer for the precious gift of life, good health, and other favours that he cannot deny!” the statement added.
