Ogah Mark Inaugurated as Kogi CBM Director, Pledges Commitment to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

Hon. Ogah Mark Okpanachi has officially been inaugurated as the Kogi State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), reaffirming his commitment to promoting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and strengthening the movement’s grassroots presence across Kogi State.

In statement signed by Blessing Julius Ele-Ojo, ANIPR, Media and Publicity Director., The inauguration took place on Monday during the opening ceremony of the 2026 National Retreat held at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, where State Directors from across the country and members of the National Working Committee were also sworn into office.

Hon. Ogah Mark was appointed Kogi State Director of the movement in January before his formal inauguration.

Ogah Appreciates CBM Leadership
Speaking shortly after taking the oath of office, the newly inaugurated director expressed gratitude to the national leadership of the City Boy Movement, led by Director-General Hon. Francis Shoga, under the Grand Patronage of Barr. Seyi Tinubu, for finding him worthy of the appointment.

He described the opportunity to serve as both an honour and a responsibility, pledging to work diligently to advance the movement’s objectives in Kogi State.

Hon. Ogah commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for introducing the Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said is gradually transforming lives across Nigeria.

He noted that the impact of the administration’s policies is also evident in Kogi State through the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, whom he praised for implementing people-oriented programmes.
Focus on Youth Mobilisation Ahead of 2027

The Kogi CBM Director pledged to expand youth participation in the movement through increased stakeholder engagement and stronger grassroots structures across the state.

According to him, the movement will intensify efforts to mobilise young people and supporters ahead of the 2027 General Elections while promoting the ideals of good governance and national development.

He also expressed confidence that the National Retreat would provide participants with strategic insights and leadership skills required to effectively carry out the movement’s objectives.

The retreat is expected to continue on Tuesday with strategic sessions designed to equip State Directors and members of the National Working Committee for their leadership responsibilities.
