Weekly Food Outreach Offers Hope to Families Battling Economic Hardship in Ikeja

For many families struggling with rising living costs, Friday mornings at the APC Youth Network West Africa Secretariat in Agidingbi, Ikeja, have become a source of hope.

The organisation’s weekly food distribution programme once again brought relief to hundreds of residents who gathered peacefully to receive food items aimed at supporting their households.

Led by the Director General, Hon. Olutunde Gideon Igbasan, the initiative has continued to provide assistance to vulnerable members of the community through consistent humanitarian outreach.

Volunteers managed the distribution exercise in an orderly manner, ensuring that beneficiaries were attended to without disruption.

Several media organisations, including Voxnews com ng, Afrivox Television, TVC News, The Punch, Champion FM 90.7, Dutch TV and SolidNewsNG, were present to witness and report the exercise.

Many beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the organisers, saying the weekly intervention has eased the burden of feeding their families amid the country’s difficult economic conditions.
