ANCY Appoints Dr. Safiya S. Musa as Matron

The Alliance of North Central Youth (ANCY) has appointed Dr. Safiya S. Musa, National Deputy Director (North) of the APC Professional Women Council, as the Matron of the organization.

The appointment, according to ANCY, is in recognition of Dr. Musa’s outstanding leadership, commitment to youth and women empowerment, and her dedication to promoting good governance, national unity, and sustainable development, particularly across the North Central region.

Announcing the appointment, the National Coordinator of ANCY, Comrade Gabriel Joshua Ojochegbe, described Dr. Musa as a distinguished leader whose wealth of experience, integrity, and passion for public service would strengthen the organization’s efforts to mobilise young people for national development.

He noted that Dr. Musa has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the advancement of women and youths, making her a worthy choice for the position.

“Dr. Safiya S. Musa has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the advancement of women, youths, and the nation. We are honoured to welcome her as the Matron of the Alliance of North Central Youth,” Ojochegbe said.

Responding to the appointment, Dr. Musa expressed gratitude to the leadership of ANCY for the confidence reposed in her and pledged to support the organisation’s mission of empowering young people, promoting peace, and advancing constructive youth engagement in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

She reaffirmed her commitment to working with the organisation to create opportunities for young people and contribute to national development.

The Alliance of North Central Youth also reiterated its commitment to partnering with credible leaders and stakeholders who share its vision of building a prosperous, united, and youth-driven Nigeria.
