Development Has No Party Colour, Ayenajeh Tells Stakeholders, Unveils Blueprint

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Labour Party’s House of Representatives candidate for the Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency, Hon. Jesse James Ayenajeh, has stepped up consultations with stakeholders across party lines, unveiling his development agenda for Nasarawa Local Government Area while earning commendation for his philanthropic contributions to education and healthcare.

The strategic meeting attracted constituents from various political parties, traditional and community leaders, youth representatives and other stakeholders, who deliberated on the developmental challenges confronting the area and explored practical, people-centred solutions.

Addressing participants, Ayenajeh urged political leaders and residents to put the interest of the people above partisan considerations, stressing that meaningful development can only be achieved through collective efforts.

According to him, “The challenges confronting Nasarawa Local Government require collective action beyond politics. Development has no party colour. When a classroom has no roof or a clinic has no drugs, it affects all of us. That is why we must sit together and plan together.”

He used the occasion to present his development blueprint for the local government, highlighting plans to improve infrastructure, strengthen the education and healthcare sectors, empower youths and women, and promote sustainable grassroots development.

Stakeholders at the meeting lauded Ayenajeh’s inclusive and non-partisan approach, describing his philanthropic interventions in education and healthcare as a demonstration of his commitment to improving the welfare of the people.

They also called for continuous dialogue and stronger collaboration among political leaders, community groups and other critical stakeholders to accelerate development across the constituency.

The meeting ended with the inauguration of a community liaison committee to monitor identified priorities, facilitate communication between Ayenajeh’s team and constituents, and ensure regular feedback on development initiatives.
