APCYN-WA Flags Off Lagos Mobilisation Campaign in Apapa, Empowers Members with Cash Grants
The APC Youth Network West Africa (APCYN-WA), in collaboration with its Apapa Chapter, has officially flagged off its Lagos State mobilisation campaign with a well-attended event held at the Governor Event Centre in Apapa, Lagos.
The colourful gathering attracted party leaders, youth stakeholders, women groups and supporters, marking another milestone in the organisation’s efforts to strengthen grassroots participation within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking at the event, the Director-General of APCYN-WA, Hon. Olatunde Gideon Igbasan, alongside HRH Dr. Oluwamayowa Jose, urged members to remain united, peaceful and committed to promoting the ideals of the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A major highlight of the programme was the unveiling of several empowerment initiatives designed to improve the welfare of party members and grassroots communities.
Hon. Igbasan announced cash grants of ₦200,000 each to three lactating mothers, ₦50,000 to every woman in attendance, and the distribution of ₦2 million among men present at the ceremony.
According to the APCYN-WA leadership, the intervention is aimed at supporting families, encouraging entrepreneurship and strengthening grassroots participation in the party.
The organisation stated that the successful mobilisation campaign reflects its growing influence across Lagos State and its commitment to youth development, community engagement and sustained support for the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The event concluded with renewed pledges by members to continue mobilising support for the APC while promoting peace, unity and inclusive development across communities.
