Upon opening the office, the cleaner reportedly discovered a man identified as Ademu Abubakar, said to be from the Ubomu area of Idah, inside the office.

The incident has raised questions because there were reportedly no visible signs of forced entry. The office doors, windows and ceiling were said to be intact, with no evidence of burglary or damage.

According to Opaluwa, the man allegedly claimed that he had attended a witchcraft meeting and was unable to return in the form he reportedly arrived before daybreak.

The claim has generated widespread reactions among residents and on social media, with many expressing disbelief while others called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Opaluwa also recounted a similar experience from years ago in Ugwolawo, Ofu Local Government Area, where a woman from Plateau State was allegedly found near a riverside after claiming she had attended a witchcraft meeting but failed to return before daylight.

He noted that residents who lived in the community at the time could recall the incident.

The development has sparked conversations among religious leaders and community members, with questions being raised about how such claims should be interpreted.
