Constituents of Kogi West Senatorial District on Monday converged in large numbers to celebrate the 64th birthday of their representative in the National Assembly, Senator Sunday Karimi, showering him with accolades for what they described as unprecedented representation that has marked a refreshing departure from the district’s chequered political past, even as the joyous occasion doubled as the flag-off ceremony for the inauguration of 10,000 grassroots mobilisers under the auspices of the Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF), with the newly sworn-in foot soldiers charged to rally unyielding support for the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Karimi ahead of the 2027 general elections.
