The only female member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, has celebrated another milestone in constituency service with the successful hosting of the 11th edition of her Talafin Tafisu Empowerment Programme, highlighting her developmental achievements over the past three years.

The lawmaker empowered hundreds of constituents by distributing 15 motorcycles, 100 bags of fertiliser, herbicides and ₦20,000 each to 200 women to support small-scale businesses and improve household incomes.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Danyaro Ibrahim revealed that her administration has so far distributed 45 motorcycles, facilitated employment opportunities for over 70 youths, drilled boreholes and implemented projects in healthcare, education and agriculture.

She said the empowerment initiative was designed to complement government efforts in reducing poverty and improving the welfare of her constituents.

The lawmaker encouraged beneficiaries to maximise the opportunities provided and called for continued peace and unity across the constituency.
