Nigeria Needs Unity and Vigilance, Says Dr. Diche in Easter Reflection

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ mark a pivotal moment in Christianity, embodying hope, triumph over death, and eternal life, according to Dr. Chief Tim Nda Diche, a former Kogi State gubernatorial aspirant and Commissioner for Agriculture.

In an Easter message, Dr. Diche described the season as a time for spiritual renewal and reflection, urging Christians nationwide to embrace unwavering faith amid adversity.

“The resurrection symbolizes boundless possibilities through faith, where light prevails over darkness,” he said.

The politician and philanthropist, who is seeking the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination for Kogi East Senatorial District, called on all Nigerians to adopt Christ’s virtues of love, tolerance, and humility. These values, he argued, are crucial for national unity and peaceful coexistence in a nation grappling with socio-economic strains and insecurity.

Dr. Diche extended Easter greetings to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other political leaders, encouraging them to lead with the sacrificial spirit of the holiday.

He also appealed for prayer and vigilance against criminal elements, stressing that community cooperation and focused security efforts could protect lives and property.

In a nod to traditional leadership, he congratulated the Aguma of Bassa and other rulers, praising their role in grassroots peacebuilding and conflict resolution.

“Traditional institutions are vital partners in fostering lasting development,” Dr. Diche said.
